Hi, Just looking for a bit of advice please. I'm new to this, so not posted on here before. Here's the thing, I have been taking the FemSeven Sequi patches for over a year and have been fine on them. Have just been told from the pharmacy this has now been discontinued due to manufacturing problems, and the replacement patch is this Evorel Sequi patches.
However, the patches are not the same ie. in that you have to apply two patches a week now and not just one :( ! Has anyone else switched over and how have you found them. Also, I'm wondering now if its worth forking out consultation fees and going private to try this Bio identical Hormone, which is more specific to your needs! Really don't know where to turn to, and feeling a bit lost and frustrated! Should have said, I have tried different HRT versions before, but found the patches so much better.

Hi I switched over with no problems ..some people do not get on with Evorel but I have been fine. Bit of a pain remembering to change patches twice a week but I write it on the calendar ☺

Thanks Dancing Queen. Yes have been doing a bit more research and thinking of giving them a go. Need to go back to docs as only prescribed 8 patches! On the plus side, may be more beneficial changing them twice a week, as do a lot of exercise and the patches have a tendency to peel off!

Yes I had that too - only prescribing 8 patches. I had to wrangle with 3 receptionists and one Doctor to get them to prescribe 3 months worth, otherwise it was going to cost me £17.80 every 4 weeks! It`s worth persevering, it saves a lot if you can get 3 months in one go . Yes I did lose the femseven patches sometimes as I exercise a lot too. Good luck x
