Title: no period on oestrogel and utrogestan
Post by: yorkslass on March 06, 2019, 02:36:01 PM
Before I get all panicky I thought I'd pick the brains of you very helpful ladies here.

On 1 Feb started on one pump daily of oestrogel and 2 utrogestran capsules for 12 days.  My period should have been due about 24 February but it has still not started.  I've never missed a month and my cycle is usually between 21 -25 days.

Initially I thought it was due to adding hormones but now I'm starting to get a bit concerned.  I would be very surprised if I am pregnant but will be heading out to get a pregnancy test kit this weekend but just wondered if it is usual for periods being messed up by HRT.

Thanks

I didn't get a period the first month of using this HRT.

I didn't get any bleeds until I switched to using utrogestan vaginally and taking it for two weeks every 3 months. I'm also on just one pump eistrogel  which is enough to alleviate my symptoms . Though now also on fluoxetine after husband left without even leaving a note 2 months ago

Thanks for putting  my mind at ease.  It must have been on my husband's mind though as he presented me with a pregnancy test kit yesterday - ever the romantic.  Negative - phew.

Oh I am so very sorry. He just up and left and you've not heard from him?
Message me if you need to vent. I know you don't know me but if you really need to talk, I am a good listener.
You need friends and lots of love.

Thank you - every time I look at the topic ‘what your husband has done to support you ‘ I feel sick. It's been nearly 11 weeks now . I'm ok, off work though with clinical depression which he has caused
