Title: How do you know if hrt dose needs increasing?
Post by: Kazzyp on March 04, 2019, 09:53:37 PM
Hi Everyone.
Your experience would be appreciated please!
I've been on Evorel Sequi quite successfully for 15 months now. I'm  51 years old.
Last few months no bleed at all.
I've started this floaty, off balance feeling over the last couple of weeks, when walking and sitting & wonder if it's hrt related? Little bit of low mood too & waking up with headaches.
How do you know if your dose needs increasing or if a different brand might suit better now?
Hrt has been a life changer for me and I worry that is becoming less effective ☹️.
My review isn't due until May, so not sure whether to battle with the GP receptionist for an earlier appointment.

Hi Karen
I'd say it's definitely worth bringing forward your appointment if you're unsure and not feeling 'well'.
I increased my HRT dose when I had a reoccurrence of symptoms, but I did discuss it with my GP.

Good luck - let us know how you get on  :)
