Hi
I've just finished reading Fearne Cotton's Happy, Calm and Quiet books.
They are aimed I think at anybody with anxiety, stress or depression, which I luckily don't have (I was drawn to the covers and then just got sucked into reading them).
There is text of Fearnes own experiences of those issues which you can either read or skip through but most importantly there are lots of self help CBT-esque exercises which may help, Calm also has a journal version. All are beautifully illustrated.
I just enjoyed them as reading before bed always helps me sleep much better with the radio on low to drown out the damned tinnitus which made an appearance for no apparent reason 12 months ago and never left! Could there possibly be any more of these damned symptoms!!!!
So yes, I just borrowed mine from the library for free.
They may just help a little bit, they certainly won't do any harm anyway. X

I almost picked a copy off a shelf yesterday ::). I find my calm in the garden: weeding, planning, watching the pond fish, feeding the birds. Unless I am really anxious then nowt works :-\. My bath is also a haven ;-).
