I seem to have developed peach fuzz. I've never had it before so probably caused by BHRT.
It's not too bad but I'd like to get rid of it.
What's the best way.
I've never waxed anything and the hair removal creams make me itch.
:-\
Any ideas or recommendations? Do I need to go see a beautician?

Hi Pinkjan,
I love that expression "peach fuzz" ;D
Yes I have it. I think it is more to do with aging as well as hormones ???
I have a little portable battery operated device which does the job nicely. I use it about every 2 weeks or so. It's made by JML finishing Touch & I bought it from Sai***urys when it was on sale for £9.99.
I use to use the removal creams but they made my skin sting really bad.

Oh cazikins,is it any good?im always scared it comes back in bristly
-
No it comes back as peach fuzz. It might get bristly if left for a long time I suppose.
I reckon it's pretty good & does what it says on the tin, it's not that expensive compared to the creams so worth a go.

Hi Pinkjan4288
I also use the JML hair remover, not on peach fuzz, I use it on my upper lip every couple of weeks or so, it does not grow back bristly, it's fine takes a few seconds and can be taken with you in your make up bag, looks like a lipstick💄

That's great to know, I was always scared in case I got a bristly face

I'll bump my thread ;)

Thanks for the info on the JML gadget have seen it but like others bit nervous of using it, maybe a Mothers Day gift I'm sure my kids will laugh when I request one! Think I've seen it on QVC as well.

does it hurt or is it cutting the hair?
-
No it doesn't hurt at all - well maybe a bit like a very, very light scratch but no more.
It is like a lady shave for the legs & under the arms but not as aggressive. I wouldn't say it "cuts" the hair - it is a shaver Pinkjan.
I would recommend it.
