Ladies sorry I've been quiet but really not up to doing anything at mo I am no better and cannot possibly go to my new doctor's anymore I've been a few times since registering regarding my episodes of hot/dizziness, dilated veins everywhere, nausea, bloody stools, pains stomach and lower abdomen
it has now turned into this .....I go really hot or dizzy veins get massive all over body and I mean all over even throat and rectum. Can see massive veins pelvic area and now in calves as knots. Severe tingling, numbness hands, feet, legs. Twitching muscles in upper thighs at back and upper arms. Eyesight goes blurry (eyes were tested January 2019, got new glasses and thought great but they've detiorated already and still got double vision with new glasses on). Stomach palpitations/fluttery. Dry mouth and restricted lower throat on neck. Dizzy on standing and feeling like I'm falling forwards
Bloody stools have stopped. Still getting some pain. Just had an episode in kitchen making a sandwich, went dizzy, tingling hands, feet. Have to sit down. Can feel pulse especially in bum cheeks area when sitting. Feel like I'm on a boat swaying. I get this several times a day!! Only time I'm ok us when sleeping deeply and as soon as I wake around 5 or 6 the pattern starts again until I sleep
Everyone I've gone hospital or doctor's BP is very very high. On registering with nurse at new GP she done it once it was 171/111. She then weighed me, weight has dropped to 7 7 stone :( she done BP again manually and said it was 128/87 I think. I said how can it fluctuate that much. She said well I'm taking the lower reading. Since been back asked GP BP was very helpful GH again I asked her to do it again but refused saying she's looking at what nurse put in screen and going by that. I asked GP can we do bloods as not done since last June. She said no they were done January which yes they were but in 2018!! I really do give up now as need answers. Was thinking oh good got a new GP might get somewhere now. But no, they seem to label you with anxiety and say that EVERYTHING is anxiety. Sorry for the rant but I cannot carry on like this everyday feeling so crappy and ill.

Sounds like an adrenaline surge to me.
Blood tests are reliably un-reliable ::). Because hormone levels alter continually.
How is your diet over-all? I had a ruff day because I hadn't eaten properly 2 days previously.

I'm eating ok. Tends to be later in evening that I get really hungry. I feel like 💩 in between these episodes too. It's stopping me from doing anything but so fed up that doctor's put it all down to anxiety. How can my eyes deteriorate that quickly, after having a full eye test January? Just laying here trying to relax and I feel like. Bobbing on a boat!! O am on citalopram and propranolol but had the majority of these symptoms before apart from the eyes.

Hi,
are there any other GP's in the practice you can go too? Perhaps take a friend or partner with you to emphasis the point .

I have recently seen 2 different doctors and the nurse to register I have an appointment tomorrow but I just know they are going to say anxiety, same as the other two have!! If they do I will seriously lose the plot. I'm going to ask for an ultrasound of lower and middle abdomen as I feel there is more going on in there.

Go back the person who did the eye test. Anxiety can do strange things ! But if you have another appt and discuss your eyes, that will be one thing you can control and sort.
When highly anxious: gut gets queasy, thighs go weak followed by calves; then my head feels woozy and my eyes cloud over. Curled into a ball in a corner ........

Hi there , have the doctors asked for a sample of the diarrhoea to send to lab as this sounds like it may be something else other than the menopause ?
Poor you! Someone needs to take these symptoms more seriously ;you could be anaemic if you're losing blood and that could cause a lot of your other symptoms.
I think it's a good idea to take someone else to drs with you to give support and back you up who have seen what you're going through ;I hope your new gp is sensible and does the tests .Tell them not noreally for you and you know it's just not down to anxiety. Big hugs xx

Thank you everybody can't go to same optician as not in that area amymore. I'm too poorly to go anywhere really. Luckily GP is just over the road. I'm at docs tomorrow so will hopefully tell him everything. Stool test was done but only for h-pylori and that came back negative. They're arranging an appointment for see a colorectal specialist. Think that is what they're called. If no satisfaction tomorrow🔉 regarding ultrasound I am going to pay privately as can't do this anymore. Xx

Hi Angel
I'm so sorry you still feel like this, is there anything in the leaflet of the citalopram, and the propranolol that says it can affect your eyesight? Sometimes, some drugs can make you have blurry vision.
How long have you been on these new medications?
Xx

Hi Jilly. I've been on them since 23rd January I think so not that long. I think it's all to do with my blood pressure but they are going by that one reading that was ok and telling me it's fine. Even though all other readings at hospitals and doctors were stupidly high. I will keep you all updated as soon as I can Jackie xx
