Title: Thyriod tests - confused please help
Post by: pepperminty on February 16, 2019, 08:43:31 AM
Hi Ladies,

just had a thyroid test. Rather confused as to what it means- GP useless.

Results are :

Serum freee T4 level 16 pmol/l
Serum TSH level  1.7 mu/l

( no T3 was done)

please can those who are knowledgeable about this explain if this is good/ low /bad etc .

I have tired to google etc but I am having a really bad foggy head day and nothing is going in.

Many thanks

Peppermintyx

If you go to the thyroid section of the Health Unlocked forum or Thyroid UK someone on there should be able to help.

Hi those results are fine, well within limits. They will only test T3 if the other results are out of range x
