What a terrible forum this is. It's completely confusing and difficult to use. I didn't get one single helpful answer to my question. I'm leaving.

You began your thread yesterday :-\ - we are World wide so threads may take a while to pop up and my 'unread posts since last visit' rarely shows, I have to scroll through ::)
You sound menopausal?
Many sites are confusing until 1 becomes used to them. But 'terrible' is really harsh - tell us more about yourself in your mirena thread and do use the search box.

CLKD....I agree, the post from Loretta did not show up in my "unread posts" yesterday. I have answered it this morning xx

My unread posts that used to appear at the top disappeared a couple of weeks ago sp I have to remember to use the notify option so I get an email. Apart from that the site is fine when you get used to like anything.

We usually give new ladies a very warm welcome so sorry you missed out on that.

I still get "Show unread posts" and "Show replies to my posts". I usually look there first.

Try a different Browser.
I usually use Chrome, which is fine. However on Microsoft Edge the 'Unread Posts' etc., are missing.

I never saw your post , I'm nit much help to be honest as I'm finding menopause a bit crazy myself but I do try to answer the best I can ..
I find the people here are really helpful sorry you don't feel same way

She's not 'black' so is probably lurking. I have sent a PM to her. Some are so impatient forgetting that we are here for a reason. Menopause .......

If I see something that hasn't had a response I try to but in - but to call the website terrible isn't necessary. We are here .......

I must admit, I only tend to look at the 'all things menopause' and 'personal experiences' posts, I don't check all the threads that have appeared since I last logged in. Since this one was in the 'new member' section I missed it - must try harder!

Haha DQ that's barely worth thinking about 🤣😂 the website IS brilliant,it's helped 1000s of women,it's also not THAT difficult to navigate your way round,even for a technophobe like me

Sorry that you don't feel that way but I think that it is better to give more time before any conclusions!

I wouldn't bother guys, she's gone - I hate to say it but I think there's a very small number of people who come onto the web looking for a fight, and if you're already menopausal you may have a very short fuse....

I do have to say that all of the replies here have been understanding, caring, and helpful. Not one person has reacted negatively or responded with a "bye then!" type comment, which I think is a great reflection of just how good the site actually is. :)

I love to check in from time to time, generally it's when I have an issue or a question to ask, I should really visit more often but hey-ho, I know I'm not going to be judged
I find the forum easy to navigate, and find the 'show replies to your posts' and 'show unread posts since last visit' really useful
