I was due to change my patches this morning and having done so - I am agitated, angry, no patience, headachy - does anyone else experience this?

Mine isn't same patch as you have , but I feel very same after changing my patch , I use everol conti
Mine has me feeling do bad I've stopped it and waiting now for appointment from hrt clinic

I had the same reaction as you when I trialled estradot and had to abandon it and go back to evorel. I posted on here about at the time and was informed 1 was made from yam and the other soy (sorry I can't remember which way around it is). Either way I was having a reaction to the estradot (I felt as though was poisoned) and was absolutely fine on the evorel . We are all different in our biochemistry and what works for 1 doesn't always work for another, it is trial and error I'm afraid x
Karen Max as you are on a conti patch it may be the continuous progesterone that is the problem, many struggle with this x

I think your right as I think that's exactly what my body font like , to be honest I'm clueless regarding hrt , My GP didn't change me to Femseven to try but she didn't know there is problem with getting Femseven so she put me back onto everol , I'm waiting for appointment for hrt clinic so hopefully not long until I get to somthing that will help me
As I've removed the patch as I felt so awfipul , I can cope with a lot of Hingis but the huge anxiety is just awful

Lot's of GP's need guiding when it comes to hrt, I learnt everything I know from this forum and then asked my GP for it; luckily mine have given me everything I've asked for no problem.
Could you try a sequi regime, I,e., evorel oestrogen and a separate progesterone such as utrogestan?x

Hi I felt exactly the same whilst on the patches. I almost felt like I was overdosing on oestrogen if that makes sense. I have a mirena coil fitted so I decided to take oestrogen hrt via tablet and hey presto (fingers crossed) I'm getting on ok with them. I as suffering so badly before with anxiety,horrendous insomnia,headaches,flu like symptoms and moodiness oh and hit flushes. Since I've been on hrt most symptoms eased off or gone completely. I did try natural route but did nothing for me.
Go back to gp and see if you can change your hrt.

Thanks ladies - they have just increased the dose from 50-75mg as my estrogen was still low at 100 - only been on it for a week so maybe I should hang on in there for a little while longer....maybe the gel would be more constant rather than ups and downs of patches...
