Title: Not sure if I'm in the right place
Post by: Proseccobubbles on January 20, 2019, 08:13:20 PM
Good evening, I'm a bit of a lurker rather than a poster. But I'm a bit confused. So bear with me. I came off the mini pill in May. Period in June, September. Then a period in November. 2 weeks after it finished I got another slight bleed. Then period 2nd January and bang another slight period started yest. Not full on bleeding just dark brown. I was 50 in September. I've been at my docs for a couple of things lately and loathed to go back with this. Do you  think it's menopause symptoms? I don't want to waste a docs appt. Any advice greatly appreciated 😊😊

Hi. It does sound typical of peri menopause where your hormones are fluctuating causing periods to go haywire. I had long gaps then short gaps. Periods lasting four days or eight weeks. Heavy or light ones. Clotty or runny. Never knew quite what to expect!
