Morning ladies, I have had these horrible things off and on since starting the menopause 8 years ago. Haven't had them in months and low and behold back they come. Had them for a few days now😡. Is there anyone out there post memo and still getting these off and on. Don't want to go back to Dr if it's just another blip. X

Thanks for replies ladies, think i will need to put up and shut up. I sometimes wish the health anxiety would do one as i start to think Dr's are missing things and i start to worry again, always helps when someone has the same. :)

Understand jgr. It only takes a bad experience with a doc, and after caring for my late wife I had a few, to make you lose that trust. In the end tho we have no choice but to hope they know what they are doing, and many do.
I have had 3 scares with the big c in the last 12 years. Once wad breast lump, second was lymph nodes and more recently ovarian mass. I have to say each time I was seen by a specialist within 2 weeks and scans were done very quickly. Each was a different Gp and they all took it very seriously and acted quickly on first visit. I would like to think this is the norm, at least I would like to hope so.
With some symptoms it seems like you have to push a bit harder. All we can do is be as informed as we can, speak up and not be fobbed off.
Wish you well

OMG TC you have had a rough time of it, makes me wonder why i am on here worried about something i have had for years. I do hope you are now on the road to recovery as you have had more than your fair share of illness. I am sure you are right with GP's, the majority are very good at their job and we couldn't live without them. Take care, sending big hugs. :tulips2:

Don't ever think your problems are any less important than anyone else's.
I mentioned my scares as I hoped to reassure you that, at least in my case, I have had good experiences as well as bad.
I have only been on this forum for a few months but in my opinion have seen how everyone has an input and can be of help or comfort to others as well as seeking the same for themselves.
I have posted asking for help and I have also tried to share and help others where I can and you have done the same. I have received helpful replies from you.
So please don't think you are not valid on here.xxx

Exactly this ! Had an episode sitting at my desk this am, panicked for 10 minutes, wanted to run away. Still anxious all day after that.
