Title: Just a quick one. Should I take the utrogestan, my period has arrived?
Post by: Jaylow on December 26, 2018, 12:52:17 PM
My period started on the day I was to start taking utrogestan. I still took it and also again the next night. But now my period is full on. I assume this is my natural cycle taking over. Should I wait until it's finished and then take the utrogestan? Or would that be pointless then as the lining will be gone?

Hi jaylou, yes my consultant told me the first day of your period is day 1 and utrogestan should be taken days 15-26.  When this happened to me I was to to stop and then take the utrogestan when I am on day 15, she explained I should then in sync with my own cycle.

Thanks Emma , I'll do the same. Feeling like life's just one long period at the moment.
