My Utrogestan dose has been increases from 100mg for 7 days to 200mg for 10 days, because my GP is uneasy about me being on such a low dose. I've been on the low dose for a couple of years & have had one scan plus a very recent hysteroscopy (coil stuck!)and the lining it thin apparently. I'm on three pumps of oestrogel a day. When I was initially on the 7 days of utrogestan I did have a bleed, but then those stopped. On the higher dose I also seem not to be having a bleed. Any ideas about what is going on? Thanks

The coil was an non-mirena one for contraception that was put in 7 years ago. The gp wanted it out because it's hard to see the uterine lining accurately using ultrasound with it in the way. I'm 55. I had it removed with a hysteroscopy because I have a stenosed cervix.
