Title: Can I restart Hrt
Post by: Lynne13 on December 20, 2018, 10:28:23 AM
Hi I'm wondering if you may be able to advise
I'm on continuous hrt for 15 months. Previously had no periods for two years prior to going on hrt. Needed to go on hrt as night sweats were exhausting me. In November I started spotting, this went on for 3weeks do decided to come off hrt to see what was happening. I bled heavily for 5 days then nothing. However the night seeats are now returning. Do you think I could go back on hrt? Why do you spot? And do I have to have sequential to reduce my lining of womb etc
I'm confused and gp not very helpful  :(

So 5 days after I got a heavy bleed and since nothing
All fine
But the hot sweats are hurendous

Thank you - it's so helpful on here!!! I think I will restart today and see what happens it was 15months to spotting, I probably would  have been better staying on and seeing what happened but... I don't like it when you are spotting on/off and you don't know where you are.
