Hi Mabel. So sorry to read your post. Had a cry today myself already. My menopause problems have increased this last couple of years and more this last 3 months. For you debts on top makes life really hard. I'm so sick and tired of myself feeling sick and tired!! It's hard to cope. Don't know what to say to help, just have to believe that things will change and hope for better times. That sounds not much help I know, but people on here will listen and try and help.

Hi Mabel, Sorry you are feeling down, the blinking weather doesn`t help - so cold and grey and depressing. Sitting at my desk wrapped in a blanket thinking about getting a hot water bottle! Treat yourself to something nice. Doesn`t have to be expensive - even a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows can hit the spot with me when I feel empty inside. Remember you are worthwhile. Hugs xxx

Do you have to visit with your son? Will you drag him down or will you be able to lift each others' spirits? Maybe stay home.
HORMONES >:(. Do speak with your GP about some anti-depressant medication if you think it's necessary, particularly at this time of year we can feel bereft of people around us but most are probably C.mas shopping ::) ! or having a late holiday B4 the festivities begin. Or ........
Debts can be sorted by visiting the bank. Do you have regular notifications from your Banks?

Thanks suzysunday for your reply, I know exactly what you mean when you say you're sick and tired of being sick and tired! I just wish I could feel more positive.
Dancing queen, the weather definitely doesnt help when its as grey and cold as it has been today. Thank you for your support..
CLKD, yes I must see my son, he lives 200 miles away and Ive let him down a couple of times. He has suffered with mental health issues for many years and went through a relationship breakup at the start of the year which has exacerbated things. I will try to pull myself together for him.

Lots of love Mabel xx

I hope you get to see your son. It's hard getting organised to travel when you feel ill, never mind the weather! All the best to you both.

Morning. How aware is your son of you struggles? R U in regular contact?
Certainly having to visit always puts me on the back foot and anxiety takes over, particularly at C.mas :'( but I have pushed on with the help of 'valium' many times. Duty visits so that DH can see his family.
Did u sleep?

Hi Mabel Can really identify with how you feel. Hormones are horrible! I think when things seem really bad just live one day at a time in "day tight compartments'. Remember it's not your fault you feel miserable. Worry about today today and tomorrow tomorrow etc.
Sending you big hugs.

That's such good advice, "day tight compartments". I continually worry and tie myself in knots about future events and it is so destructive.
