Title: FSH and LH levels
Post by: keancy on November 20, 2018, 09:11:16 PM
So I had some blood tests and my levels were

FSH 3.7
LH 1.8
Oestradial 76

I am guessing if these are worth having my journey is far from over??

What exactly is the LH level can anyone explain only from all I am able to find that LH level is quite low???

Thanks in advance

It depends what day/stage of your cycle those levels were checked, if you know what day that is. I know it can be hard with unpredictable periods and everything

If the oestrogen is measured in pmol/l then this is quite low whenever it was taken although levels do vary considerably.

What reason was the doc doing these blood tests?

If you are over 45 and getting menopause symptoms such as flushes and sweats then you are peri-menopausal. With the Mirena you don't have cyclical changes to tell you although blood tests can tell you a limited amount.
