Title: Estelle duet 1mg and palpitations

Hi, does anyone else who is on Estetlle Duet 1mg get bad heart palpitations when on the green tablets of the cycle? I take propanolol to help but it doesn't take the palps away. Have you found anything that help you?

Some women do get side effects from the progestogen part of HRT and find that an increased dose of oestrogen at this point helps. With Elleste you can't increase the oestrogen separately from the progestogen although you could try the 2 mg Elleste dose or maybe try another HRT such as Femoston 2/10? If there is nothing wrong with your heart then better to try to treat the palpitations with oestrogen than propanolol which lowers the blood pressure also. In your position I would stop the propanolol and ask to change your HRT - and see if this improves your symptoms.
