Title: Menopausal joint pain

I am  post menopause of 1year but currrently suffering from joint and muscle pain , cant take hrt ! Anyone any idea if this passes or am I stuck with it for life ( awful prospect!)

Sparkle is right - Vitamin D and omega 3 might help. Joint and muscle aches can be a sign of a lack of vitamin D.
Doing the right exercises also helps. Inevitably some joint and muscle pain emerge as we age. Hrt can help but it doesn't fix everything. DG x

Thank you ladies .my vit d was checked last year but will get it repeated plus magnesium.

Also as oestrogen levels drop so muscles may become lax = aches and pains.
