Title: Weight gain

Hi all. I am due to have a full hysterectomy on the 2nd November but I have been on HRT for a couple of years and gained quite a bit of weight. I tried coming off HRT because of the weight gain but I suffered terrible headaches, really tired and terrible hot flushes. But one thing I noticed was really painful thighs, knees and hips. I was gutted when I've had several comments about my weight I could cry. Has anyone else lost weight after a complete hysterectomy, I hate the way I feel and look

I can't answer your question because I haven't had a hysterectomy,
I just wanted to wish you the best of luck and hope everything goes well for you, when you have your operation next month.
