Title: Peri or something else?
Post by: Sgtvhilts on October 06, 2018, 05:05:38 PM
Hi
I have been posting for sometime and singing the praises or hrt etc. Felt i was defo in peri
BUT the night sweat ( at 5 am) has never really gone and i still get- though not as bad- gut symptoms
Last week i finally had a gallbladder ultrasound and full of huge marbles.
I have been doing a lot of reading about gallbladder and low and behold one of the symptoms are sweats.
Now i'm really thinking maybe not peri at all........., but all down to gallbladder.
FSH 3 yrs ago was 5 i know that doesn't mean much, periods were still regular, but lighter and closer together
So essentially i could be on hrt for, well nothing
Anyone else had experience like it

Except it will protect bones and heart  ;)

What has been recommended regarding the gall bladder?

Thanks
No recommendations yet, seeing the surgeon on nov 5 th, but i expect it needs to come out- which i think ill go for.
Ye for sure hrt will protect other bits and pieces, so i will carry on as even if this wasn't peri ,at 48 it will be just around the corner, but i am just very curious if it was gallbladder all along
