I know that the UK history is built on invasion plus immigration. It's background to my knowledge. I am currently reading George Alaghiah's story and he raises lots of interesting questions and points of history regarding influx to these shores. From his arrival in 1967 to the 'now' [although he is currently very ill].
Worth a read. It's 1 that will go back onto the shelf for me to dip into.
