Title: When is the best time take Estrogel/When is the best time to take Utrogestan

Hi Ladies,

When do you feel is the best time to take Estrogel?

When is the best time to take Utrogestan?

I was thinking of taking the Estrogel in the morning and the Utrogestran at night. Does that sound like a good plan?

Yes Oestrogel in morning. Utrogestan at bedtime on an empty stomach x

Hi prestige
I am on estradot patches so they are on all the time but take utrogestan at night. I found that I was feeling a bit weird when I took it in the morning.

I am as Golden Retriever with Estradot patches. I also take Utrogestan vaginally so has to be at bedtime otherwise they would probably fall out  ::).

I was told that the utrogestan can have a sedative effect so that it why it is better to be taken at night when you are on a continuous regime - it helps with any insomnia.
