Title: Major Bleed
Post by: ClaireLee46 on September 10, 2018, 03:31:09 PM
2 months in on evorel conti patches and the hot flushes are gone. That's the good news. Bad news is I'm 4 days into a major bleed, sore breasts, period pains, bad moods, the lot. I know if I tell the doc she'll just take me off HRT again, this is my third attempt. Don't know what to do, just feel like crying really, can anyone help please with some advice?

Bleeding can be expected in first 6 months of starting a new hrt. There is no need to stop taking it. X

Dottys right. Conti HRT can cause bleeding in the first six months as your body adjusts. I swapped back to sequi as I got fed up with the bleeding and could deal with the expected monthly bleed much better than never knowing when a bleed would start. Have a read of the information leaflet to put your mind at rest re bleeding.
