Title: Period when on Femoston - is there anything I can get to stop it?
Post by: floridamad on September 10, 2018, 07:50:02 AM
Hi there,

I am on Femoston conti and have been for 11 months and its great. Had a mini period when I first started but nothing until 3 weeks ago when I got another.  thought it was stopping and now its back as normal - so 3 weeks of dribbling and full flow  ???

I go on holiday next week and I really dont want to be having a period while away as I can get quite heavy at night and would hate to leak  :P

If I get to see a nurse/doctor this week, is there anything they may be able to give me that may stop it?

Thanks everyone

I'm afraid this needs investigating as it may mean your womb lining has built up too much and you shouldn't be bleeding after 6 months on any conti HRT.   You could try stopping the HRt to see if the bleeding stops?  DG x
