Hi Ladies
Does anyone still get period type pain at post menopause. 3+ years post and every now and again I feel sickly, increased anxiety and period type pain. Feel generally unwell at this stage. Like I did when I had periods or ovulation. I am on Femseven Continue and been on that around 10 weeks so far.

Some cramps are quite common on any HRT. As you have only been on HRT for 10 weeks, your body is adjusting to the hormones and as you are very post menopause you are also starting from a very low hormone base line. Your body will take some months to adjust - basically your body is ‘waking up' as the oestrogen reawakens your female parts. Some bleeding and spotting is also quite normal in the first few weeks or even months of starting any conti HRT but if bleeding should continue beyond 6 months then this will need to be investigated and an alternative HRT prescribed.
It 's early days for you yet - be patient and hopefully things will settle. DG x
