Title: Changing your Estrodot patch more than once a week...
Post by: Noheroicsplease on August 25, 2018, 07:07:14 PM
The lovely Salad says that she was advised to change her 200mg patch 3x a week to get her levels up. Which has happened.

This could be the perfect solution for me.

I need to ask the specialist GP when I see her next week.

But does anyone else do this?

Have never tried this but sounds like a plan. The important thing is not to be tempted to change too often eg once a day as it takes a while for levels to build once you've changed. Good luck :)

I only have a 37.5 estradot patch so it may not be the same but the instructions are for twice weekly change rather than weekly. Will be interesting to see if lore regular changing boosts the oestrogen.

All the oestrogen patches are supposed to be changed twice a week apart from Femseven which is once a week - so going to 3 x a week is not much different really - and hopefully your doc will approve as you will get through them quicker. It could be better to increase dosage than change more often although if you are already on a v high dose (like 200 mcg!!) this is not so easy!
