Title: Patches and swimming
Post by: Cori on August 08, 2018, 11:12:30 AM
I've been prescribed FemSeven Conti patches. I'm planning on starting to use them on Friday evening. Not only am I nervous about starting HRT, I'm also worried about the patches not sticking after reading posts about them on this forum. Especially in the summer when I sweat a lot and am active at work. I'm also wondering how they will stay on when I go swimming. Had anyone had any experience of wearing them when swimming?

Why nervous?

Maybe put the product name into the search box on here to see how others get on.

Never had any issue with patches when swimming or in hot weather, they sometimes curl up at edges a bit day before needs changing.  Trial and error where you stick them (obviously follow guidelines in leaflet) only time one didn't stick I realised I had talcum powder on the area. good luck.

Hi
I was on holiday last year wearing femseven patch and it came off when swimming.
I find no problems with evorel, they stick so much better.

Thanks guys. Just nervous about trying something different, but someone on another post has put my mind at ease. Does anyone know the difference in FemSeven and Evorel?

They contain different progesterones. Evorel sticks well in most people but is changed twice a week. FemSeven can be tricky to get to stick but is only changed once a week.
