Title: How do you know you need to increase dose
Post by: Loki on August 07, 2018, 07:32:31 AM
Hi All
I'm on my second month of estelle duet 1mg. I felt better than I had for years during the first few weeks, it was great. Then I started the green tablets. It wasn't as bad as expected but tiredness, crashing fatigue, joint and muscle pain gradually crept back in. It's not living just existing.
I had hoped starting the white tablets would have sorted me out again but unfortunately it didn't. I'm about to start the green again and am worried I'll get even worse. Is it a change of tablet or an increase in estrogen that I need?  Any suggestions really appreciated.
Be well and live life to the full.

It could be the progesterone in the Elleste which is not suiting you. See how you go for three months and then see your GP if you are no better x

Dotty is right - it sounds like the progesterone doesn't suit you. Perhaps try Femoston 1/10 next.
I wouldn't increase dose yet unless the flushes are returning.
Look under TREATMENTS to see your options. It can take 3-6 months for any hrt to settle though. DG x
