Title: Swimming suited to Evorel patches better than Estrogel?
Post by: CarryWarry on August 02, 2018, 05:01:47 PM
As a swimmer would Estrogel work ok?  I've had patches before and am interested to try the gel.....however, if gel doesn't work for swimmers I will try patches again....

I'm pretty sure it says on the gel leaflet to leave it at least an hour after applying before getting wet or getting smoochy.

I think it would be good to ensure a thorough shower of the gelled area on the way into the pool.

I'm a regular swimmer and an oestrogel user.

I wait at least one hour after applying the gel before getting in the pool or apply it once I'm done if I'm swimming early.

It works for me.
