HI Guys,
I'm on Femeston 2/10 and I've already posted in another thread that I'm hoping to change this HRT as I'm getting really severe anxiety attacks whilst I'm on the "white" tablets (I'm presuming this is the progesterone, excuse my ignorance!) and once I get my bleed and am on day 3 or so of the "red" tablet, my anxiety rate reduces & I feel so much more human again. As I've said, I would love to be on something that has no bleeds, I'm 56 yrs old. I dread when I have to start taking the "white" tablet cycle again as I know the anxiety symptoms will be back like a bang ......
Thanks

Hi Laois
Maybe you should ask the doctor for Femoston Conti 1/10
,where the two drugs are combined and taken on a continuous basis? This may help with your symptoms.

Hi Bun,
I'm just worried that the estrogen would be less as in half, I've been told I can supplement it with extra estrogen by way of Elleste or similar. It's just my doctor isn't very "up" on HRT treatments and I try to go in to him with as much info as I can but at the end of the day ifthe brands I'm asking for aren't on his database I'm back to square one !!!!!
I'd have no problem in taking the Femeston Conti if I thought my body could "operate" on the lesser estrogen.

Hi ladyunlaoised
I started off on femoston conti ultra low dose, 0.5mg, (February this year)
This has continued to rise over the last couple months to 2mg./10mg
I don't get a bleed because I'm taking the conti type.
But I've learned on here that you can add ellest solo to it to give the oestrogen a boost.
That's what I'm going to ask for if this doesn't work for me.
I get a 1mg pill, prescription, then a prescription for 0.5mg. And increase by just 0.5 mg
Every time I think I need more. As I say, I'm now taking 2mg/10mg. Conti.
Don't know if this helps, but good luck babe.

Thanks JD.
I've been prescribed Femeston 1.5 mg and also Elleste Solo 1mg to supplement the estrogen. I'll wait until I get the withdrawal bleed on Femeston 2.10 mg this month and then start taking the Conti. Hopefully it'll suit me.
