Hi ladies. Advice needed. Can I just come off Hrt patches? A couple of days ago I realised I had lost my patch don't know where or when. Anyway put a new one on and realised after a day and night it hasd rolled into a tube so was not getting any hormones from it. Applied another last night and today I'm jittery, heart palps, bit lightheaded, dry mouth. I'm thinking they are causing my anxiety to be worse???? I'm doing my tapping EFT as I have spoken on my other post about this to alleviate the symptoms. Xx

Yes as it is a conti patch you can just stop. I had a small amount of bleeding when I had a break from mine due to progesterone withdrawal. You might fare better on the FemSeven sequi which would mean you only have progesterone for half of the month instead of continuously. In some women it is the progesterone which causes anxiety. You would have a monthly bleed though.

Thank you Taz. I have taken it off and will see how I go. Only been on it 5 weeks but I've convinced myself it's making me worse, especially after the last 2 not really giving me anything due to losing 1 and the other rolling up. I never managed to keep 1 patch on for 7 days anyway as they are a nightmare for sticking. So have gone through more than I should as had to replace them. xx

They are notorious for not sticking well.

Angel were did you stick your patch, I have been on Femseven Conti 50 for years and put patch on my lower tummy and have to 'peel' it off, however could not get them to stick when using my bottom..
Hope you start to feel better soon.. :-*

Hi I am sticking them on bottom so as they are under knickers. Perhaps I will stick on front instead. Have they helped you with anxiety? xx
