Title: Longer cycle in between periods?
Post by: Ruby10 on July 30, 2018, 06:06:16 PM
I have started to a have longer gaps in between my periods. I am on HRT patches as in the perimenopause stage. Does the longer cycles mean I am going into the next stage of the peri stage. I am starting going into 32/34+ days, where I used to be 26/27 days.

I am not on HRT, but yes, I would say that longer cycles is just a natural symptom of heading towards the menopause.

I wish my periods cycle would start being longer!

What were you given HRT for?   Has it eased symptoms?

I went longer and longer between bleeds then had a run of 3-4 months as 'normal'  ::).  Repeated as necessary B4 bleeds finally stopped.
