I was changed from everol sequi to femseven cont nine months ago but have had a very light vaginal bleed every two weeks . I saw my gp two days ago and she has changed me to everol conti . I did not tolerate norethisterone with everol sequi and did tell her this . ( this was the reason it was changed originally ) >:(I also advised her that I was happy to have a period of need be or to take progesterone in another form to avoid norethisterone but she dismissed this saying ' you're 51 you don't want to have a period and you don't want to be taking different Medicines '. :-\ I'm really fed up ! GPS don't know enough about menopause management an just guess treatments. Now I don't know whether I should everol conti a try ( though don't see it being any different. Any suggestions ?

Were you post menopause when you switch dot Femoston Conti? If not, then that's probably why you are getting breakthrough bleeding. You would probably be better on a sequential hrt.
If the norethisterone affected you in Evorel Sequi, then it will do the same in Evorel Conti.

Hi thanks for that. That's what I wondered and did say I would be happy to have a period. Go says she's going to refer me to gynae if bleeding doesn't stop ! I was 11 Months without a period when I started everol sequi .I tried the everol conti patch but felt bloated acne headache and was awake all night feeling ' wired'
as before so have removed it . I intend to go back to my Gp again and ask for sequential hrt and referral to menopause clinic. Sorry for the first post just felt ignored by go ( who ' s actually nice but doesn't know much about menopause) apologies for autocorrect. ;D
