Hi Pmj,

So sorry to hear you are going through a bad phase. I'd say too you should try to see a doctor, and hopefully they can give you something to get you through. The darkest hour is just before the dawn though, and as impossible as it may sound right now, you could start to feel better again at any moment.
Keep posting and let us know how you're doing xx

Hi  Very sorry to hear you are feeling this way.  You shouldn't have to and it's 'just' a question of working out the best treatment for you.  Please believe there WILL be an option that works for you.  There are ladies on here who are very clued up (unfortunately I'm not one of them) so if you could share some more info about where you are with menopause and which HRT you've been using, for how long etc someone will be along to give you some good advice. xx

Can you show this to the nurse and ask for the extra oestrogen in the form of tablet, gel or patch to be added to the Femoston Conti?

Or ask to change to Oestrogel and Utrogestan.

Good luck 😘

Pmj28 - Femoston 2/10 is not a continuous hrt.  It is a sequential hrt which will give you a monthly bleed.

Were you on a continuous hrt before?

If you were peri menopausal then you shouldn't have been on a continuous hrt.

Are you happy being moved to a sequential hrt?

So sorry that you're not doing well. I can totally sympathise with you . I'm still trying to find something that works.
For me also it's the anxiety that is the worse .

Hope you start to feel better soon

I am still peri menopause my doctors they not that good with this thing is am finding out ,When I first started peri I was on prempak c but they where discontinued and then they put me on femseven conti patches was just told to pick them up at the pharmace , felt I was just left to get on with it. If these help me I don't mind the bleeding

Hi sounds like you should have been on a sequential regime. You should not bleed on a continuous regime but you have to have been 12 months without a period before you have a continuous regime.

You can get Femseven Sequi patches for peri menopause. Or the Femoston 2/10 which you have just been given is for peri menopause.

Thank you Dotty for your help i am glad there is some one out there that knows what this is all about because doctors don't we have a special clinic but they will not refer me because I don't have any other issues

You would have bled on the Femseven Conti because you were still in peri menopause.

Try the Femoston 2/10 but expect a monthly bleed. A lot of ladies get on very well with Femoston.

Femoston sequi got rid of my anxiety along with my other symptoms within the first month but according to some ladies it can take a couple of months before you see an improvement.  I bleed the day after I've taken the last pill in the pack and the bleeding lasts about 4 days.  I get some PMT symptoms the week before but they are tolerable and I'd rather have those than anxiety any day.  Best of luck to you - I hope you feel better soon xx
