Title: Stopping Elleste Duet
Post by: Sunny99 on July 19, 2018, 06:00:52 PM
I have done one pack of these and a week into second pack but still suffering with palpitations, dizziness and nausea so thinking if stopping. As I haven't been on the pills long thinking it's fine to just stop and not cut down. Is this ok?

Hi if you had all these before starting the hrt then they are menopause symptoms and not caused by the hrt. You need to give the tablets longer to work. It can take up to 3 months to see changes.

I would phone your GP straight away for advice. Same things happened to me.  The type of HRT may not agree with you. Don't try and second guess what could be going on. I'm sure you could get a same day call back.

Sorry been on hols but thanks for responding. So tricky to know if pills are working on not 😩 Not sure I need them. Doc said they expect any changes to happen within the first month really and can't say I suddenly feel amazingly better.
