Post by: Denise Didi on July 09, 2018, 10:49:56 PM
Hi I'm 52 and been Peri menopause for ?1year but suffered pmt for years. Past year has got worse. Been on patches 6 months along with venlafaxine for depression. Still blue pmt time so just switched to gel ..and tablets. Not notices much difference yet except more hot flush but could be the hot weather!

Hello and welcome Denise.  :welcomemm:
Yes the hot weather doesn't help but I don't suppose it will last long  ;D
Do keep posting and reading - lots of information here, it's really helped me.

Yep,
My peri started at about 45, but i can only say that with hindsight, because you don't really notice at the start.
But boy oh boy did that crank up last October
I' have been on anti depressants for years on and off, but even they weren't helping with the brain fog, anxiety and sweats
So in april went nuclear with femoston- now 90% better.  Took about 3 days to clear the fog, anxiety massively reduced after about 3 weeks and sweats about 3weeks too.
I still have the odd night sweat.
If what you're on doesn't suit- go back and discuss. Bw
