Hi there...I haven't posted for a while but I'm still an avid follower...but I've got a question..I'm in peri stage I'm pretty sure have been for years but I always read your period get more spaced out til they go months apart before stopping..
well I have gone from a solid 28 day cycle 3 years ago to mainly 35 to 75 days between but this year I'm having them every 21 days then next month 40 days then 21 days then late again...can this happen?? plus one month it's barely a period for 3 days other times its seriously flooding for 10 days solid?? thank you

Hi there
Last year mine were getting shorter 18/19 days. This year all the symptoms are increased and my periods are late each month up to 47 days. This has never happened to me before but I think it is normal. My bleeding is scant now but I am prepared for flooding as this is something I remember my mum talking about- back when I was 20 something and not really listening lol :)

Hi there..thanks for your reply at least it's normal I don't have contact with my mum but I remember she told me years ago she didn't suffer at all just her periods got less and less then stopped.
I'm 9 days late this month but last month I was 8 days early and I was so heavy I struggled to contain it for 10 days I've never bled like that in my life but previous month I only bled for 3 days barely anything...
this menopause lark is crap isn't it lol

Thanks everyone...phew!!! otherwise the last 5 years of hell so far would have meant I was falling to bits and going mental if it wasn't peri :)
