Title: Yellow vaginal discharge
Post by: Katty on June 06, 2018, 01:51:27 PM
I have been on Elleste Duet Conti for about 18 months now. I also use the vaginal moisturiser YES. About 3 months ago I noticed a step up in vaginal discharge and it was yellow rather than the usual white. No itching or odour. I now use a panty liner and the discharge is a little sticky in consistency. One of my most troublesome effects of menopause was the vaginal thinning and dryness. HRT has helped with that. On here I have read that other women experience a discharge like this due to atrophy. I can't understand why that would be the case with me as the HRT is supposed to have sorted that. Is this normal? I am post menopausal and 56 years old.

Actually a slightly yellow discharge is probably quite normal. If you are not itchy or sore then I wouldn't worry.
It's better to have a bit of natural
Lubrication than to be dry.
We can't expect things to be as they were in our reproductive years but if you are concerned then perhaps try a bit of Multi Gyn Actigel a couple of times a week which helps to restore the flora balance. DG x
