Yes most definately Lisa but I've recently discovered after an awful lot of gp/hospital visits that high cholesterol can put pressure on backs of eyes and low b12 and vit d has a huge impact so first thing get your vitamin d and b12 checked.my vision is very blurred and I have bletharitis ,Robin on forum gave me some great advice and I bought the treatments for that and dry eye and it has helped greatly, the tears are poor quality during menopause and the tear ducts get blocky and oily causing stickiness in corners in mornings it's mites, they live in skin we all have them so don't worry have a google you can treat yourself but do get your eyes checked too,I've seen 4 different opticians now and a hospital consultant and got no where with them.good luck it's very common so don't worry.

I've worn contact lenses for donkeys years and been on hrt for yonks too but since natural meno my eyesight/eyehealth has taken a battering. Double vision/dry eye/blurred vision. Was under eye specialist for 18 months and discharged as they couldn't find a cause x

My prescription had remained the same for years and years but now during peri it's deteriorated and although I always had dry eyes, they have got drier and they get blurry. In fact I had a very blurry day yesterday. Optician recommended eye drops. They were a bit expensive though so I just went with a Boots own brand ones. They're good if you can manage to actually get it to drop in your eye! I always miss!

I had dry eyes during peri too but I didn't know that it was due to the lack of estrogen. Hrt helps a lot with it.
