I'm afraid spotting might mean your womb lining is building up too much so you should probably see the GP to get a scan.
I'm surprised they haven't suggested a Mirena with seperate oestrogen as patch or gel? The Mirena is very good at controlling endo and erratic bleeding etc. so this could be worth considering. It's also the most minimal hassle HRT regime.

If it is just spotting then there's probably nothing to worry about but regular scans may be a good idea - just in case. If proper bleeding happens then that is some concern.
I think it is very difficult with endo, as adding any oestrogen will trigger a build up of the lining. Hopefully things will settlw for you. DG x
