Title: Weight Gain on HRT
Post by: aspie65 on April 22, 2018, 11:13:58 AM
The research all says this is not true but 2 weeks ago I upped my estrogel dosage.  In the same time period nothing changed in my life ie food, activity.  Now I am 3lbs heavier and I am convinced it must be the HRT ( or a very spooky coincidence).  Just wondered if I am alone in this or not?

I put on weight the first week I started HRT - 7lbs in 3 days.
However, I feel it was all my dried out cells puffing up with fluid as the skin at the top of my arms, for instance, went from being a bit dried out and wrinkly to smooth skin again.

I also rationalised feeling better was preferable to being half stone lighter  ???

No weight gain for me! Actually I feel more energetic and can continue my training as before my meno. Hrt helps me not to feel hungry all the time! :)

Hello ladies.

My weight has stayed pretty much the same but I've noticed fluctuations in my appetite in that I have spells of feeling ravenously hungry followed by periods of no appetite and wanting to eat very little. I assume these episodes even out over time and that explains the unchanged weight.

Take care ladies.
