I used to have the best curls. Now, I have curls and on top a layer of frizz. I buy such good shampoos and conditioners, I don't blow dry, I use curly hair potions. I only wash once, maybe twice a week. And still. It's yet another DEPRESSING symptom. Any thoughts?

I used to have curls but as I got older my hair got straighter. My hair in peri has changed and not for the better. I look back at photos of how lovely my hair used to look and now it looks awful.

Have you tried serum ladies it's pretty versatile for everything x

I am currently washing my hair with herbal essence shampoo (the more expensive version), waitrose pure hair conditioner, and then once it is towel dried, I put about 3 drops of Argen oil in the palm of my hand, rub the other one in it, then run it through my wet hair, especially the frizzy bits at the side. Then I comb it in with a very wide tooth brush thing, blow dry the fringe, arrange the rest where I want it and give it a scrunch and let it dry by itself.
The central heating is a problem, so things should improve as the weather does.
It does it good to have a good cut - the frizz looks tidier ::)

My hairdresser gave me a great tip that works for me. Wash your hair as normal & towel dry, take a small amount of conditioner on your hands & rub it lightly though your hair. Leave it in.
I never blow dry either, but it still works if you do.

I've tried all of these things with absolutely no success.
I, too, look back at photos and feel sad about what a state my hair is in now

Have you tried Got2b hair serum ? It really calms my frizz x

My hair used to be bright and shiny and full of bounce - now it's thinner and dull. Spent a small fortune on 'stuff' - nothing works. Getting it cut a lot shorter this week.

Try Biotin (It's a B7 vitamin) and I can testify it makes my nails grow thick and fast. I too have thick curly ginger hair and whilst its still thick it's not as thick as it used to be, I cannot gain the volume I used to have in my 30s.
