Was just reminiscing today and thinking what was my favourite age and it was definately 16-21 before I had any children.I loved rod Stewart Gilbert O'Sullivan the bay city rollers Tamla motown just about any music except punk lol.
I was a bit of a wild child, not in a bad way,I just seemed fearless and worked hard 7 days a week and loved to party, got married at 17 and 43 years later still adore him,we were complete opposites but grew up together and yes I do wish I had my life to live over again, older and wiser hopefully.😁

NOW. Absolutely and definitely now.
My thinking is the past is gone. Good or bad, learn from it, remember it, but have no regrets. As for the future who knows what will happen or how long we have. So make the very best of now because basically now is all we really have.
Now, is where we have the potential to do good, for ourselves and for others.
Carpe diem. :sunny:

Oh good thread! I think when I fell in love at 16 and the years, though sometimes difficult, until we got wed. The ups and downs of love, him being away for weeks at a time; the letters received and sent - I kept most he sent to me ::), did he heck ;D - the days out together. Planning our wedding. Escaping a dysfunctional household though I wasn't aware it *was* dysfunctional ::) :D.
I was aged nearly 22 when we wed :-* - he's been my ROCK! So yep, 16-mid-20s ........... I look back with nostalgia ::)

I liked 17 as all my family were still alive then, no one I knew had ever died. That didnt last long but it would be nice to go back for one day. I left college started my working life had everything in front of me secure, happy, loved.
My sister always played Gilbert O'Sullivan, Glen Campbell, "Young Girl" whoever sang that? Bay City Rollers, Showaddy waddy, Diana Ross, The Jacksons, REO Speedwagon, Madonna(Borderline), Shaky Stevens some of the ones I liked!

My best time was probably in my late teens and early twenties. I was carefree, I had lots of friends, I was pretty and very slim, I had money, I could walk out of a job if I didnt like it and walk straight into another.
I look back and think I should NOT have listened to what people told me and made my own decisions. I shouldnt have worried about what other people though and I should have just done what I wanted.
i never planned anything and I think I should have done so.
My life seems to have gone in a flash and here I am now at 64 and still have no plans. 😂😂
