Title: HRT - One month update
Post by: Tiddles on February 27, 2018, 02:22:26 PM
Good afternoon ladies from a snow covered, beautiful day in Norfolk.

I've just completed my first month on HRT tablets - Elleste Duet 1mg and thought some new people might find an update helpful.

Many symptoms have improved notably - flushes / night sweats / anxiety daytime and night time / nightmares / palpatations / mood. During this past month I've had 11 days without a single hot flush and last night was the first night without a night sweat since September.

At the start of the Progesterone phase I experienced some banging headaches and upset stomach but both passed after about 4 days.

Th remaining symptoms that the HRT doesn't seem to have improved are lack of energy / libido but the weather could definitely be affecting the former and the latter would probably benefit from going on holiday !!

So all very positive forr me.  I understand things may change but am keeping fingers crossed x
