Title: Body parts
Post by: Daisydot on February 01, 2018, 08:55:28 PM
I was just thinking there after checking myself out in the mirror.I really hate my neck now I look like an old turkey that's been in the oven too long,my facial and body skin is actually quite young looking still but the bloody neck is a dead giveaway.
Which of your body bits do you dislike?

Might be easier to say the bits I like  ;D  So, I have a nice nose, well I think it's nice.

I take care only to look in the mirror when my contact lenses are out - then I have amazing unwrinkled skin!  ::)

I rarely have time to look at myself in a mirror.  When my 'apron' dropped a few years ago I look down and look 'fat' but in actual fact, I haven't gained any weight. It's laxity of muscles  ::)

Once I'm dressed I can imagine exactly how I would like to be.  It's that Old Lady looking back from the shop window that shocks me, when I realise it's me  ;D.  But I am loved  :-*

I also hate my wrinkly neck. It's all I see when I look in the mirror. If I just pull the skin back a tiny bit either side I look 20 years younger!

Hello ladies.

I am 61 and the people I meet tell me I look good for my age, they are lying of course but it's kind of them to try and give me a boost! However as I am still struggling with horrible meno symptoms most days I would settle for looking worse but feeling better!

Take care all.

K.

Me too.  I use a ton of hand-cream but it seems to make no difference.  :(

Everybody's skin flaps in those powerful hand-dryers (I've seen my daughter's skin flapping about - she's a slim, fit 25!).

As a meander a small child was quick shocked when one of those hand driers began, he wasn't expecting it at all - he was so shocked he couldn't cry  :-\
