Hurdity I'd just like to say I saw my GP today and given I had cut my patch in half already, and Dr Currie saying 6.6mm was not worrying we are sticking to half a patch for now.
He was happy to try anything I want but after a recent health collapse we agreed to just sit tight and not make changes.
My anxiety has settled a bit with the half patch and propranolol so fingers crossed I might improve more.
Oddly I didn't feel so bad until the hysteroscopy wrecked my system.
He had read up on all the treatments and found a meno specialist in my area to refer me to. So we are doing that as well.
All round a good visit for me in my present state of health.
Thank you for all you have explained to me.

Hey Sarai - glad you are feeling a bit better now and hope you settle on the half patch. No probs re explaining - those of us on here who've been through it all like to pass on what they know or have experienced to try to help other women :)

Jo24 I have the Evorel Conti 50 and in myself was doing really well on it except every 4 weeks or so I got mucky discharge, that went beyond the 6 month bedding in time.
So Drs panic, I got a hysteroscopy after my womb lining was shown to be 6.6mm as opposed to 6mm. I wasn't don't right so a waste of time and it totally upset my hormone balance sending me in a teenage downward spiral.
So in desperation I cut the patch and added propranolol. I'm calmer now. But mucky discharge not gone.
I'm wishing now I settled for changing to the Sequi and get a bleed.
Damn it's so annoying.
