Ladies may I ask, iv not used Testogel 50mg before and I'm sure my Consultant said put whole sachet on ( 5g gel) once a week and rub it in, but it does seem alot when I see other people rubbing pea size amounts in. Does this sound correct ? If you use the sachet do you just put a peg in if ur only taking tiny amount out ?
Thanking you in advance x

Coll, I have just started Testogel and was told that one 5 g sachet should last for 10 - 14 days. They said to aim for 14 days, so it's about a pea sized blob daily. I smear it on outside of thigh just above the knee. You can fold the top of the sachet over and secure with a paperclip. Hope this helps.

Thanks Joniepat, that sounds more like what other people seem to be saying on this forum . Glad I asked .
Do tell me how you get on with it. Can I ask what you re trying it for ? x

Hi Coll, what I am hoping to gain from Testogel is an increase in stamina and motivation. I am 68 so not expecting too much, but some improvement would be nice. I understand it takes a few months to take effect and I am only on day 9, so nothing to show for it yet of course. I would be interested to hear about your experiences, too. Good luck.

Eeek - that would have been far too much! My dose is as Joaniepat said - and the paper clip thing too! I started a thread called "Testosterone Here we Go" in the Private Lives section so you might want to have a read as this tells you my T story and comments from others too? I put mine on the inside of the thigh just above the knee. Any higher and you might get too much hair growth (well you might anyway but it's easily dealt with ::) ). Some women are given higher doses but not really sure why.
Mine was for low libido but in reality I wanted it more to prevent the aches and pains I was getting after exercise and the threat from the doctor to refer me for testing for fibromyalgia (sadly I had to go to a private gynae for the T as I didn't like the idea of a fibro diagnosis before trying the T solution!).
Good luck and do let us know how you get on :)
