Title: Bleeding once a year????

 :-\Hello, wondering if this something that affects others...... for the past few years I have been period free for about a year and suddenly get a really heavy painful period! So just when I'm thinking I am getting through the menopause by not having a bleed for a year, ham, there it is. So frustrating   :( does anyone else have this problem?

I did go 8 months twice and then one year and had a sudden family bereavement and got a massive heavy period. Then after that I did manage the full year plus.
