Hi, this is my first visit to the site as a member. I am so relieved that I am not suffering this awful VA alone. I have suffered in silence for around 2 years not realising I have this awful condition. Just started using vagifem and am into my second week and already getting relief. So thankful to my male urologist for telling me what I was suffering with. And frustrated that my female doctor and gynocologist didn't. Thankfull that I have found this website.

Hello and welcome. So glad the Vagifem is working and hope you continue to improve. There is indeed too much ignorance among the medical profession about menopausal conditions, but you got there at last. At any rate you know where to come now if there are further problems. This site is brilliant!
Good luck and :welcomemm: JP x

Hi and welcome to MM Georgieb
I suffered with UTI type symptoms and general soreness for many years (I was even on systemic HRT) - but it wasn't until I moved to the country and there was a clued up practise nurse at the new surgery, who told me I needed Vagifem. I will be using Vagifem till I die. I would also suggest you use some vaginal moisturiser ( but not at the same time as the Vagifem - so use it in the morning) - SYLK or the YES products are the most popular. DG x
