As things start to hot up (!) and everyone gets ever busier, thought I'd start off the season's greetings!

Tis the day of the Winter Solstice and the beginning of the season to be jolly! This turning of the year always gladdens my heart as the days will get longer and we can look forward soon to the warmth of the sun and spring days - even though winter has only just begun!  :sunny:

I do know that it is of course 2017 - but have been wishing everyone well in cards and e-mails for 2018 so that was on the brain!! Anyway - I mean it for this year too :)

Took ours down on the morning of the 6th.  Let them have a last blast on Friday night when we were busy, then took them down in the morning when there was time to pack them up and put them away.

With all the controversy of which day to take them down going on, it means you can pick the most convenient day  ;D
